Install the following way in a terminal, use the wineprefix command for installation in a clean environment You need to have (the latest) winetricks installed cd ~/ && wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks && chmod +x winetricks env WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-AP53x sh winetricks corefonts mdac28 jet40 msxml6 dotnet20 (AP craches with directx9 on wine 1.4 & 1.6, so don't install) env WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-AP53x wine '/path/to/albumplayer_setup53x.exe' (install AlbumPlayer) env WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-AP53x wine "C:\Program Files\AlbumPlayer\AlbumPlayer.exe"
