1: Capella will crash if no midi device/synthesiser is found. Make sure wine finds yours - timidity works for me - fluidsynth caused some cpu load but worked too. 2: If you want text or load files with text - which is saved in RichEdit-Format (default e.g. by capella scan) you need native RichEdit (winetricks) or it will not work. 3: I loaded a 10 page music sheet with some text and I was unable to save it - the limit of opened files (default 1024) of linux is not enough for capella. 2048 weren't enough neither - after increasing it to 16k it worked (I guess it depends on the size of your sheets). This also fixed problems with settings not being saved. 4: Capella will automatically install its own fonts (the notes) if you do not have corefonts installed, the default font will change to capella font (not only in capella, but also in many other programs) - after installing corefonts (winetricks) it worked again for me.
