WineHQ

BridgeCentral

2.2.x has automatic replication of MP to the central DBf database.  Therefore it asks for a security code in more situations than in 2.1.x and earlier.  Otherwise very similar to 2.1.x and 2.0.x.

What works

As usual, all tested features work ok.  Tested daily usage with wine 1.5.0:

  • Connection types 4 (fjernklub) and 2 (db hosted at DBf)
  • Display of the DBf Welcome.html (news) inside the program
  • Tournament creation, editing, printing (to CupsPDF) and upload to web (tested in fjernklub)
  • Automatic assignment of Bronze Points (BP/MP) done correctly
  • Creating a data packet in fjernklub and exporting it to a zip file
  • Fast opening of all windows (even with Gecko debug dlls, usually)

What does not

The "invalid floating point operation" crashes in Gecko still occur after 9 minutes of network connection unless a hacked mozjs.dll is used.  See the forthcoming bugzilla report.

The minor font/dpi issues still exist.  In practice only a cosmetic problem.

What was not tested

Lots of things not yet tested with wine 1.5.0.  But no reason to suspect any difference from earlier versions.
