Playing music or radio programs works fine including crossfading and overlapping of tracks. AGC - auto gain control also works perfectly. Playing ogg and mp3 streams also works except for some mp3 streams that have higher bitrates (higher than 32kbps and in stereo). For these streams, frequent gaps in the audio can be observed. Added events like station id, jingles (every 15 minutes) and scheduled programs and no problems so far after more than six hours of operation. Only "delayed" scheduled events work flawlessly.
What does not
"Immediate" events only work temporarily for two or three similar type events until another succeeding "immediate" event execution pulls up an "invalid parameters received" error dialog box.
What was not tested
Sweepers, time announcements, temperature and humidity announcements and high-priority scheduled events.
Can be used for production only if immediate events are not needed e.g. hourly news that must go exactly on top of the hour or live streaming events Tested with only "emulate a virtual desktop" checked and a desktop size of 945 X 548 on wine configuration.
