How to extract GOG .bin files
by Talos on Friday August 15th 2014, 19:50
You can extract directly the .BIN files without errors by using:

$ sudo apt-get install innoextract
$ innoextract setup_mygame.exe

The problem is: The game still not working due (in my opinion) of the DVD version (vob files patch).

If you use the win95 version of the main executable, downloaded at wcnews, the game runs but cannot find the avi files

For some reason WC4 is looking for the VOB files in C:\vob. If you create a symlink from c:\wc4gamesdirectory\vob to c:\vob, the files can be located by the game. It is also important to run regsvr32 and register the mpeg2decoder and ac3decoder ax filters for Windows.
