What works

  • Installing
  • Running
  • Settings
  • Playing the game (somewhat)

What does not

Abnormal amount of save-file corruptions (or more precisely, game crashes when loading certain save-files) making the game nigh unplayable when combined with extremely long loading times. In theory game should be finishable, but with the amount of times the problem occurs (at approximately every two or three saves), it would require ungodly amount of replaying and hoping that new saves won't result in the game crashing when loaded.

The crash gives no report, only a messagebox with no title or text (with only one option) appears. Nothing pertaining to fatal errors is present in wine's text in terminal either. No workarounds or causes found. The issue isn't due to low memory or PC power, I played Painkiller: Black Edition and Overdose with no major problems on the same computer.
