Integrity check before installation seems to work.
What does not
GOG installer does not work. After integrity checking it crashes with "Access violation at address 004D8212 in module 'setup_alan_wake_18.104.22.168.exe'. Write of address 00400000. Installed it on a windows installation and using this to run the game. I had to set it up to open a virtual desktop, but still nothing works. The virtual desktop starts up, and after that it crashes without any further messages.
Tested on wine 1.5.1, 1.3 and latest git source (as of May 16, 2012). Various different errors seen, but no reproducible pattern found.
What was not tested
Anything after the installation crashes, so nothing else could be tested.
