The downloaded file BP_Diary.EXE works. It creates the requested install directory and the 'BP Diary007' subdirectory. Then extracts the actual 'setup' files that subdirectory. The 'setup.exe' file also works. It extracts the software from an MS cabinet file to the requested install directory, adds enteries to the Wine menu, and put an icon on the desktop. Help file, as minimalist as it is, works fine.
What does not
The actual program 'BpDiary.exe' does not run at all! Instead a small 'BpDiary' dialogue box pops up with the message "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch." Clicking the OK exists both BpDiary an Wine.
What was not tested
The actual program, as it does not run in Wine.
As the program does not run it is useless. However, the data file it maintains is a comma delimited file (Comma Separated Value) so it can be loaded into or even created with a spread sheet. The .csv has the format test,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Aug./28/2003,118,80,74,7:30,120,79,74,12:20,121,78,74,20:30,comment, e.g. date,Systolic,Diastolic,Pulse,Time,S,D,P,T,S,D,P,T,comment,
