Previously on wine version 1.9.5 I was only able to get the 32-Bit version to work. But with version wine 2.13-r2 the 64bit version appears to be working great. I haven't had much time to mess around with it yet but I wanted to report the fact that 64Bit is working now with this newer version of wine.
What does not
I haven't noticed anything not working yet but I also haven't spent that much time using this version yet.
What was not tested
Most things were not tested yet.
I needed to install msxml3 with winetricks before installing Illustrator but that was the only special thing I had to do to get it to install and run. Also at the time of writting the wine version I'm using, wine 2.13-r2, is not yet available in the official Gentoo portage repo. I installed it through the bobwya overlay using Layman (https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Layman). This site is helpful for finding overlays that contain versions of packages or packages not found in portage: https://gpo.zugaina.org/app-emulation/wine
