KORG M50 Editor (Standalone)

What works

- Installing - Running. - If I connect an M50 through M50's USB interface, and if I configured correctly the MIDI ports in winecfg, this can control the M50 flawlessly.

What does not

The only issue is unfortunately a major one: - The program uses extensions more than 3 chars long (*.M50combi, *.M50prog, and so on). - If I run Utility|Load... or Utility|Save..., the Load and Save dialogs can't see properly those long extensions and therefore data is unloadable and unsaveable. This CAN be workarounded from the synth, however (loading and saving data solely from the synth), but it's a cumbersome workaround. So this is a bronze rating. If you fix the Load/Save dialog, this rating could be easily upgraded to Platinum, since everything else works.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Nothing. You need an M50 to test all the functions, and I have it. The communication between this and the hardware M50 is fluid. Even playing the virtual keyboard works, and, when I press the real keys in my Korg keyboard, the virtual keyboard responds. Awesome!

This one has only one major issue, and the only major issue is testable and fixable without an M50. So, please!
