What works
Everything works perfect!!! However, you need to install mfc42.dll in the c:/windows/system directory. I found a good mfc42.dll from http://www.driverskit.com/dll/mfc42.dll/1917.html
I don't know if this helped the cause, but I've also installed Visual Basic runtime libraries 4, 5 and 6 from Microsoft.
