Running the game: The game installs and runs fine extracting an easy to find dll inside the main directory. That disables the Games on Windows LIVE features and makes the game start fine. Unfortunately, ingame videos and intro sequence do not work. Anyway, i played the entire arcade and i really enjoyed it at max details. Flickering screen issue: If you are a NVIDIA user, just check "Sync to VBlank" and "Allow flipping" into the NVIDIA X Server Settings (NVIDIA configuration tool). There's no more flickering screen, but it shows some flickering black lines inside the main menù. These black lines disappear when you're in-game, so you can play without graphical issues. I also tried without these tricks, and i found out that sometimes the game works better and sometimes the game works worst. It seems that enabling Multisampling and setting "pbuffer" as Offscreen Rendering make things better. So if you got a NVIDIA GPU, you have the solution. If you have an ATI GPU, you should check if there are some kind of options like those two of the NVIDIA configuration tool.
