What works

Pretty much all SP content

Viewing MP lobbies

Changing settings

What does not

Actually joining a MP lobby (The problem exists because of the slow loading)

Fullscreen (It closes immediately, although on first run it should run fine)

The text is broken (It shows the names of variable or some addresses instead and victory/lose text doesn't show)

Lag on first run (Not sure if it was a problem with my PC or with wine but the WM worked fine while the game just lagged)

Workarounds

I only fixed the fullscreen problem by adding "/win" launch option and I switched to fullscreen using $mod+f.

What was not tested

Multiplayer

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: Intel
  • Driver: open source

Additional Comments

I'm on i3wm so the fullscreen problems might be exclusive to my WM but when I tested an older version it worked fine.

Steam Proton Compatibility

This game is officially supported by the Steam Proton compatibility tool. For this reason, I am no longer actively maintaining this app with new Wine versions.

To enable Steam Proton, open your Steam settings. Select "Steam Play" from the left-hand side, and check the box for "Enable Steam Play for supported titles". You will then be able to install and play the game as if it were natively supported on Linux; Steam Proton will set everything up for you automatically at first launch.
