Additional Comments

Mouse issues if you use an engine post 1.3.14 Use 1.4.1 NoXInput2 or 1.5.1 NoXInput2 for best results Performance is poor out of the box. Disable glsl shaders in winetricks to improve performance dramatically. No Drawbacks Texture/Lighting isn't rendered properly on some maps out of the box. Disable pixel shader mode in winetricks to fix this. The drawbacks are lack of shadow/shader detail. (I recommend turning shadows off and put water on low as it makes little to no difference)

HowTo / Notes

Steam Proton Compatibility

This game is officially supported by the Steam Proton compatibility tool. For this reason, I am no longer actively maintaining this app with new Wine versions.

To enable Steam Proton, open your Steam settings. Select "Steam Play" from the left-hand side, and check the box for "Enable Steam Play for supported titles". You will then be able to install and play the game as if it were natively supported on Linux; Steam Proton will set everything up for you automatically at first launch.
