This test is for AMD GPU users. To make game work smoothly, you need to set OffscreenRenderinMode to "backbuffer" (see useful registry keys page). Fonts might render inproperly in game, but overall it should be doing fine. If it feels slow, consider disabling some text output (kill console for instance). If the game menu is black, turn off fullscreen mode. If you still want fullscreenmode, you can workaround it by setting windowed + custom resolution in proporties decreased by 2 pixels, so 1918x1198 for 1920x1200, 798x598 for 800x600 etc. This will leave 1 pixel border around the game successfully preventing it from turining black, while still giving you fullscreen-alike behavior. If after applying this tweak, the menu is still black, just try moving your mouse around, hovering over buttons have a good chance to reveal them.
