What works
Wine in Linux installs Macrium program folders, desktop menu entry and icon.
What does not
Macrium Reflect installs in Linux Mint 17 with Wine, but it will not run, only generates a .dmp error message.
Also, there is no uninstall menu item, so you have to do a file/folder search to find and delete those manually.
Workarounds
What was not tested
All Macrium Reflect functions.

Additional Comments
Sort of a workaround, using Macrium but not Wine: Although earlier versions of Reflect and this latest one still will not function under Wine, the program can be used to do image backups/restores of Linux installations if you first install Reflect on a Windows PC, burn its Win PE Repair CD there, then use that to boot your Linux PC. On the GUI Backup tab, deselect all drives except the one to be imaged, click on that one, and select either clone, individual partitions, or whole disk image, plus destination/file name. A little experimentation will get you used to the menu items, and only data is recorded. A drawback is that you cannot explore the Linux image file or extract individual files like you can with Windows images.
