I had to use catalyst instead of xf86-video-ati. In the Launcher Options I checked Alternate Input (Advanced->Input) and I unchecked "Enable D3D9Ex" (Advanced->Display->Compatibility). I have to play with lower settings than in Windows, but that was to be expected.
