InDesign CS6 (8.0) (codenamed Athos): 23 April 2012
Most of the basic features I tested:
What does not
As with the previous test results you can only export to an interactive pdf.
Also I couldn't changed the interface mode to be black & gray with white icons. It was suck in a white & teal mode with black icons.
You additionally cannot apply any updates from adobe available for CS6, where you could with windows.
You need to use winetricks in gui mode to install: atmlib corefonts gdiplus msxml3 msxml4 msxml36 vcrun2005 vcrun2008 vcrun2010 d3dx9 flash. Make sure the msxml and vcrun are done in order.
I was having a issue where msxml3 and vcrun2008 wouldn't install properly with winetricks in a 64bit wineprefix unless it was under gui mode.
What was not tested
I installed it from a CS6 cd with a keycode. I installed photoshop, illustrator, indesign, bridge, and fireworks all at he same time with most things working out of the box. Adobe acrobat pro failed to install.
I even managed to install the adobe extension manager but unfortunately for what ever reason it couldn't find the updates from adobe to apply to the software.
Its really closer to a gold rating when you consider how I installed it as well as that someone who knows wine better than i do could probably fix the interface colors and pdf issues.
