The install process and changing CDs is cumbersome.
Workarounds
Followed the instructions in the Sep 12 2010 test. One extra thing to note was that for some reason the serial number and labels didn't appear in winecfg when I used the original CDs. I found them by using Disk Utility to make a dmg copy of all of the CDs and then double clicking on the dmg to mount it. Running winecfg after that would reveal the serial numbers in the Advanced section of the Drives tab for the mounted dmg.
What was not tested
Have gone through the game to the second disk but no further so far. Inserting a new disk involves returning to the terminal and following the instructions in the Sep 12 2010 test.
