Installation, gameplay, matchmaking, Steam overlay/in-game purchases, microphone input.
What does not
Controller input, multithreaded rendering (improves performance but causes minor graphical glitches, worst of these is seeing the bomb through walls).
What was not tested
Gameplay with a controller.
No winetricks needed, the game menus run perfectly with the default settings but you should disable multicore rendering and possibly controller input before playing. With multicore rendering enabled performance improves, especially on maps with lots of objects, but you can see some light sources through walls and gun textures are sometimes corrupted. The light sources issue can let you see the bomb carrier through a wall at times because of a light on the bomb. Controller input enabled with an xbox 360 wireless adapter plugged into my system crashes the game when any keyboard input occurs. Disabling controller input in the game or unplugging the wireless adapter fixes it. Microphone needs to be configured in Steam, not in game, for it to work properly. Not sure if this is Wine specific. Some updates may reset the settings, remember to disable multicore rendering and/or controller input again as needed. It seemed like an update had broken the game on Wine for me but the controller settings were just reset.

You can't start the game with certain Ati/AMD cards; At least some 6xxx series and 7870 is affected and reported against Fedora distribution (See https://bugs.winehq.org/show_b...).
It's known issue.
You need to change your vendor and device of your card (and set memory size too to avoid other crashes)
Here is a guide: http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulR...
Some users said to be using these values to get it work in Registry:
"I used the value of "0x10de" for the VendorID and "0x0402" for the DeviceID."
Disable steam overlay from steam settings.
