What works
Everything. Only problem is a weird glitch which is easily solved (see below).
What does not
When the program starts up, none of the text is visible. To fix this, just click the first large button, which should bring you to "create new flight". The text in this screen will be visible. Then, just select a plane, either press "ok" or "cancel" (doesn't matter), then choose any of the buttons (fly now, ok, cancel). When you get back to the main menu, all the text will be working.
