La Tale

What works

Install and OGPlanet launcher work very well.

What does not

Nothing else, the patcher for la tale complains about an improper file and never patches, it's possible to run through the patch process in virtualbox but even after the launcher does not work and will not let you launch the game. Attampting to launch the game using information found elsewhere directly from the command line makes an attempt but crashes, seemingly during a security check early on. (According to the console at the time it was repeatedly calculating PI to 3000 places, i guess as some sort of checksum) The security it uses also restricts it from working under virtualbox or any other virtualization so it's impossible to get further to see if theres some sort of other setup you can possibly do to get it working.

What was not tested

There are plenty of hacks around to bypass the security checks or strip xguard from the game, I have not tried launching with these. I would assume they would work but you would have to manually crack and re-patch every version.
