Under wine 1.4 I saw regular crashes. These happen rarely enough that it didn't hamper my game play. (I die a lot so losing a game every so often doesn't really matter much.)

Note after upgrading my laptop to wine 1.5 the game appears to work flawlessly.

You will need to install Visual C++ Libraries 2005 to run this game. The easiest way to do this is to type "winetricks vcrun2005" on the command line. If the command fails or winetricks is not found see the below link to download, and run the latest wintricks.
