1.19 is an unofficial update for Thief 2 and Thief Gold, released by an anonymous coder. It rectifies many of the issues in the vanilla game without having to use DDFIX. It has proven to be remarkably stable and should be used wherever possible when playing Thief.

What works
Everything.
What does not
Nothing. It is 100% functional from what I can see.

What was not tested
The full game. Although w/ how T2 works, if one mission works, then if another doesn't work then it must be a fault of the FM.

Additional Comments
At this moment, the patch works great. Only issue is you have to set the ingame settings to your monitors resolution or else you'll have overlapping panels onscreen.

Thief 1.19 (and the similar System Shock 2 patch) adds a configuration file titled CAM_EXT.CFG which contains many extra settings that can make or break the correct operation of the game in WINE.
I recommend studying this file and creating a backup of it before making changes.
Under WINE 1.4 I observed that the option d3d_disp_sw_cc - when active - left me with a black screen during gameplay. Comment this option out with a preceding semi-colon if this happens to you. Despite the note in the CFG file, I was still able to adjust gamma even with windowed mode forced.
Another note: Thief 1.19 killed X when trying to go fullscreen with a resolution lower than my desktop resolution.
