What works
Once initial configuration is corrected, entire game seems to work albeit a little slow. Played through two hours of the game nonstop after successfully running it.
What does not
Game ships with msvc*90.dll which doesn't work. Must use winecfg to set msvcr90 to builtin or builtin,native for game to run.
