If this ran on Direct3D mode, I'd give it Platinum. Beautiful, as long as you select OpenGL mode (pass the -c argument to Starscape.exe to open the configuration screen).

How to play Starscape

As of 0.9.27, Starscape is playable in Wine, though it still has very minor flaws.

  • Install Starscape
  • Run Starscape with the -c flag to open the config dialog
  • Make sure you have OpenGL selected
  • Start Starscape
WARNING: Saved games
In versions of Wine older than 0.9.27, Starscape will fail to notice saved games, and the Load option will remain greyed out forever.
