If it didn't draw black over the entire screen on run, and Direct3D worked, I'd give this a Platinum. It works beautifully, as long as you make sure to use OpenGL mode.

How to play Starscape

As of 0.9.27, Starscape is playable in Wine, though it still has very minor flaws.

Install Starscape
Run Starscape with the -c flag to open the config dialog
Make sure you have OpenGL selected
Start Starscape

WARNING: Saved games

In versions of Wine older than 0.9.27, Starscape will fail to notice saved games, and the Load option will remain greyed out forever.
