What works
The installation of the game was flawless.
The game itself is very playable: decent framerate, no noticable bugs as of yet. There are no visible glitches. Also, the slow crashing animation is NOT present on my installation.
Downloading online ghosts to race against seems to work, but this has not yet been tested properly.What does not

I installed the game with it's own prefix, using wine 1.5.16 in 32bit mode. I also installed the packages xact and wmp9 with winetricks. Sometimes the sound contains static. However, this disappears after a short while when alt-tabbing to a different program.
