What works

Single player
Cinematics with audio

What does not

Installer from the .iso is old as hell and requires 16bit support in

kernel (Linux). I don't have it but the game is very forgivable - all
you need to do is: copy data to the hard drive and run CLAW.EXE.

Workarounds

Custom installer works wonderfully, download "Claw Setup" from here: http://kapitanpazur.piasta.pl/...

What was not tested

Multiplayer

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: Intel
  • Driver: open source

Additional Comments

So far so good! Blocker issue with jumping was resolved

and everything seems to be exactly how it was 20 years ago when I
played the game for the first time on Windows 98. Claw is a very
demanding platformer so the gameplay accuracy is very important. On
newer Wine it works perfectly. Tell your kids - it's a lot of fun!
