What works

Gameplay works fine at full framerate with sound effects and menu music.

Level music works only with a workaround.

What does not

There is no music in the levels.

Workarounds

To get level music to work, install fluidsynth on your distro and download the Windows MIDI soundfont.

Then, in a terminal window, run the following:

fluidsynth -a pulseaudio GM.SF2

where `GM.SF2` is the path to the Windows soundfont. Keep this terminal window open while playing.

Note: you can replace `pulseaudio` in the command with `alsa` or the audio backend you're using.
