- Save and load state
What does not
Closing the emulator with the 'x' button will close the window but will not terminate it the emulator itself. The music is still going on, it sounds that the game is going on as well and the process is still running. To finally close the program, one must go to the terminal from which ePSXe was launched and hit Ctrl+C (or kill the process itself, with 'kill' command).
What was not tested
- Playing with video audio configurations
Works better that the Linux version of ePSXe. There where some random sound glitches but too rare to be really noticeable. Used the following plug-ins (as advised by the ePSXe wizard guide): - P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.9 - P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.18 - scph1001.bin (bios) Games Tested: - Megaman Legends 2 - Final Fantasy IX Machine Configuration: - Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E6500 @ 2.93GHz - Memory: 2GB DRR2 - Video1: Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500 - Video2: ATI Radeon HD 6570 Tested with both video devices separately, but it does not really matter as I used the software renderer plugin.
