Starting the software. Displaying the songs and levels of difficulties for choosing. Scores from previous playings can also be retrieved. Getting into the playing screen.
What does not
After getting into the playing screen and pressing space bar to start playing, the game freezes after 1-2 seconds, which is believed to be when the software starts playing the music stored in an ogg or wav file. When playing a mp3 file, after conversion (from LAME) a pop-up box appeared claiming the wave file cannot be found, despite a .wav file is generated in the designated directory. Gameplay ends immediately after pressing space bar and the player cannot score any points. The game does not freeze, though.
What was not tested
Scoring, since the game cannot be started.
To display Japanese characters correctly on non-Japanese locale environment, set LANG=ja_JP.utf8. If a mp3 file is used, it needs LAME to encode the mp3 to wav before playing. LAME used in this test case is 3.99.5(x86).
