Basic core construction tools and panels
What does not
Plug-in installing and anything that requires plug-ins to work (toolbars, import-export options, rendering)
Trial version functions (since the trial period is already expired on first open)
Installer: run from an already installed copy of Rhino 5.0 in any location that is accessible to WINE. This can be achieved by copy-pasting the Rhinoceros 5.0 folder from the Program Data of a Windows PC that has the software installed.
Expired trial: input a valid license number
What was not tested
Plug-ins (attempting to install, let alone run, crashes the program)
Decent enough for basic geometric operations for users who know their way around the commands, but unusable for users who rely on the toolbars or whose workflow demands use of plug-ins.
The plug-in problem appears to stem from invalid IL code triggering an unhandled Invalid Program Exception in a Mono .dll (mscorlib.dll)
