The "Lite" version, has access to a limited set of features. Most notably:
  • Recognition modes
    • Graphics and text mode is unavailable: you cannot convert shapes, tables, arrows or drawings.
  • Personal dictionary
    • Capacity limited to 30 words
    • Auto-Replacement is unavailable
    • Special Characters cannot be modified
  • MyScript Trainer
    • Trainer is not available
    • Cannot create any recognition profiles
    • Cannot use existing recognition profiles

What works

 Seems that everything works perfectly!!!

  • Installation - works flawlessly
  • Registration - completed successfully
  • Help - Opens correctly, can navigate, sometimes entries on the navigation tree disappear
  • Was able to write several texts in English and Greek using a Wacom Tablet (intuos3)
  • Handwritten recognition - works!!! It was able to recognise both texts!!!!
  • I was able to save as .note files
  • I was able to open saved .note file
  • I was able to export as .rtf in wordpad
  • I was able to export as text
  • I was able to print and print preview
  • I was able to rotate 90 degrees

What does not

It appears that notes extracted using Tuomas Jorma Juhani Räsänen's m210 command line tool [http://tjjr.fi/sw/m210/] are not compatible with the program.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Opening other supported note formats.

More tests with m210's dumps are necessary (I used a multi-page dump, maybe a single page one will work)
