Most things -- sound (this was an issue before, see extra comments), gameplay, weapons, etc. The UPlay syncing seems to work. My saved game and all of my controls were synced properly, from when I was playing on my Windows drive. Performance is okay. Best performance is found on Medium settings for me, though having played 10+ hours in Windows, I can say that it's about 1/2 the performance and visual quality. See Extra Comments for my configuration + any overrides.
What does not
There's some issue with crosshairs in red-dot sights -- they don't seem to work. This also includes the non-red-dot sight on the bow. I personally never used the red-dot sights, so this isn't a major issue for me.
What was not tested
Intel i7 920 24G RAM GeForce 560Ti w/ 310.19 drivers Wine 1.5.19 Arch 64 with Wine in a 32bit chroot A few things: - The performance is not great -- I've been spoiled by how well it runs in Windows in DX11. However, it is most certainly playable at Medium settings with this configuration - In 1.5.18 the sound didn't seem to work. However, I installed Wine 1.5.19, turned off my computer for a day, came back, and now sound is working. I'm not honestly sure if this was something that was fixed in 1.5.19 or if it was just being tempramental. - Here is my list of overrides. I was getting crashes without these: -- ubiorbitapi_r2_loader (native) -- wininet (builtin, native) - Launching the game from Steam causes a crash. In order to launch it successfully I did the following: cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Far\ Cry\ 3/ wine farcry3.exe -uplay_steam_mode -language=English -steam_mode Additionally, this was required in order to register my CD Key with UPlay. I actually pulled this off the neogaf forums, because it was apparently an issue on Windows as well. PM me if you have any issues or need some help.
