What works

Everything, including the following plugins:

  • ComicVine Scraper
  • Data Manager
  • Library Organizer

What does not

Sometimes freezes or crashes when starting. Works perfectly once started.

Workarounds

If ComicRack doesn't start but doesn't crash either, manually kill it then try to start it again. It will work eventually.

Nothing.

Requires dotnet45 and a 32-bit Wine prefix.

HowTo / Notes

ComicRack with native .Net

1. Install depencies with winetricks:

winetricks dotnet45 corefonts wsh56

(not sure if wsh56 is really needed)

2. Start installer, and make sure you untick ``Optimize ComicRac``, otherwise the installer might crash

3. Use wine-staging 2.0-rc5 or above. The application should start.
