What works
Installs OK from CD after IE6 and DCOM98 installed with WineT***s. Runs from command line with file name. Downloads new bank account data and stock prices OK. General navigation around accounts OK. So is setting options.
What does not
As reported elsewhere, you get black screens if you try to run reports. If you try to run the Monthly report, Money reports an error has occurred and closes down. Also as reported elsewhere, selections from the list of categories by pointing and clicking selects the wrong category, but scrolling up/down the list and hitting return is OK. If you enter categories in the account list (i.e not using input forms) the font is too big for the hight of the text box. In the Portfolio Lists, the mouse pointer disappears when you hover on a clickable link, e.g. a stock name.
Workarounds
What was not tested
A lot of things that I do not use, or use infrequently. There is a huge array of features and options in Money. It would be difficult for any one person to test everything

Additional Comments
For me this is a crunch application that prevents me from migrating from Windows to Linux. Its got to run a lot better in Wine before I can use it.

2015-04-20 Admin note: the following steps were extracted from a test report filed for Wine 1.4.1 and may not be relevant to current Wine.
A few steps are required before launching MS Money's "setup.exe", but then the setup runs perfectly and the installation succeeds as expected.
1) Do a "export WINEARCH=win32" to make sure Wine runs in 32-bit mode.
2) Use "winetricks" to install these 3 packages: - "ie6" - "msmxl3" - "corefonts"
3) When Money runs for the first time it will ask, “do you have an Internet connection?” Answer “no” to avoid online content that will be useless and outdated anyway.
