Additional Comments
A few steps are required before launching MS Money's "setup.exe", but then the setup runs perfectly and the installation succeeds as expected. For experienced Wine uses, here is a summary of the steps: 1) Do a "export WINEARCH=win32" to make sure Wine runs in 32-bit mode. 2) Use "winetricks" to install these 3 packages: - "ie6" - "msmxl3" - "corefonts" 3) When Money runs for the first time it will ask, “do you have an Internet connection?” Answer “no” to avoid online content that will be useless and outdated anyway. For beginners, this this step-by-step guide describes installing MS Money 2004 on 64-bit Ubuntu 13.10. It is probably also useful on similar Money versions and Linux platforms: http://torben.g-b.dk/2014/02/25/how-to-install-ms-money-2004-on-64-bit-linux.html
