Installing, video sequences, sound, playing, finishing the game.
Played it fullscreen 1600x1200 on a 1920x1200 monitor (i.e. black bars on the sides) at highest graphics settings.
What does not
Game requires manual patching with a hex editor (edit System/dx2.exe and change the byte at offset 0xca5 from 0x45 to 0x44) as it was described in another review here, otherwise it won't start.
Quick-load (F12) will cause game to hang, then continue extremely laggy after a minute or two. Loading quick-saved games works from the normal menu without issues.
After you reached the end of the game (for any fraction), and the final video sequence finished playing, the game will return back to the main menu, but with totally garbled textures (I suspect it's an effect of this recently fixed bug: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37406).
If the desktop resolution does not match in-game resolution (which is likely on the first start), parts of the screen and the mouse cursor may not be drawn properly. Adjust the resolution in game to match your desktop (at least choose one with the same height, since the game does not support widescreen), exit it (you might need to click blindly) and restart and it should work fine now.
What was not tested
Any kind of modding, widescreen patch.
Game needs some tweeks at the beginning, therefore I have to give it Gold rating. After that it runs quite flawlessly and with good performance.
