Only thing I had to do was install libtxc_dxtn library to my gentoo desktop for enabling S3TC texture compression because without it I din't see any background tiles. Played with "emulation of virtual desktop" Game runs with much better performance than classical BG2 trilogy. Hardware: 1.8Gh Celeron, 2GM DDRII, i915 chipset graphics Installed packages: linux-kernel 3.7.2 libdrm 2.4.40 mesa 8.0.4-r1 xf86-video-intel 2.21.0 libtxc_dxtn 1.0.1-r1
