schthack servers v1 and v2 run under wine as well. Ok got phantasy star fully working and with music and typing as well. This is how: 1. install Phantasy Star Online (what ever version you use) 2. go to http://psopalace.schtserv.com/downloads_pc.html and install Windows 7 and Windows Vista Typing patch, any other patches you would like seem to install and work fine as well. 3 to get music working open terminal and type "winetricks directmusic dsound" 4 that is it, I recommend using schthack launcher for ease of setup and online/offline mode. Now after all these years we can enjoy PSO to the fullest in wine
