Similar to my previous Mac and Linux reports.
-Installation from downloaded installer (works mostly, see notes)
-Launcher start up and login-Character creation-Character login
-Gameplay using newly and already created characters
-PVP / Legends / Alerts / Duos / Challenges / Operations
-In game marketplace (DBC Coins)
-Switching back and forth between window and fullscreen
-Switching apps works fine
You may install via the official installer (from dcuniverseonline.com) or you can install via steam and manually run WINE from the games install directory.
I've tested with an AMD RX VEGA 64 and performance is very good. I sometimes get low frame rates in raids when things get crazy with the lighting effects. Otherwise it plays well.
What does not
-The configuration applet from the launcher still does not work, it relies on .NET 3.5 but still fails with it intalled.
For proper controller support I ran sc-controller (troller) before starting the game. After, I went into WINE's control panel to manually configure wine's gamepad support. In the gamepad applet I disabled everything but the XBOX 360 Gamepad (js). This is the emulated controller sc-controller sets up. I tested this with a Sony Dualshock 4 and a XBOX ONE S controller, both via USB.
What was not tested
I tested most everything in game as WINE is exclusively how I play DCUO. I've ran into no issues.
I used winetricks to install the current version of DXVK. DCUO runs full frame rate using Vulkan instead of OpenGL.
