Additional Comments
DC Universe Online works out of the box, more or less. I needed to install the libraries d3dx9_36, vcrun2008 and xact_jun2010 via winetricks. Per the previous version you will need to do the following fix for mouse wackiness. I needed to do this for the gamepad also as it was reading from the mouse and causing issues. You can try it either way, use what works best for you. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE MOUSE ABLE TO GO OUT OF THE WINDOW, FOLLOW THESE STEPS: 1 ) Run winecfg 2 ) Run DCGAME.EXE in a virtual window 3 ) Check "allow capture of mouse on full-screen windows" 4 ) Apply and close, and then run regedit 5 ) Go into /HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Wine/DirectInput Or just go find your DirectInput key 6 ) Click on DirectInput and add a string value 7 ) Make the name MousewarpOverride 8 ) Set the value to enable One thing I noticed about this version I didn't in my previous tests is the game's performance. It is about half the framerate of what it was on the older versions of the game/wine. It's still playable, but a strange occurrence considering I've upgraded my system considerably since then.
