Native .NET 2.0 is required by the launcher, Mono will make it crash. Running the game executable directly can't be used as a workaround since the game expects a settings file generated by the launcher.

HowTo / Notes

Running Puddle without any requirements

Run installer without changing anything. Allow installation of all components after installation.

The following procedure is needed because of non-functional launcher which depends on Native .NET:

Go to /home/yourusername/Documents/Puddle directory and create a file name Settings.dat. Include the following text and save:

  <Display displayDeviceName="" width="1366" height="768" fullScreen="true" vsync="true" aspectRatio="16:9" />
</Settings>

Note: you may want to change resolution depending on your computer.

Go to: /home/yourusername/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Puddle/ and run Puddle.exe without using the shortcut on your desktop.
