The program is written in java and runs on both windows and mac os x, so I initially tried running it directly without wine but couldn't find how to get it working. Next, I tried running the windows installer in wine but the installer always fails. Eventually, I ran the windows installer in a windows VM and then just copied the program files directory. The installer includes the JVM so you don't need to install it separately. The steps are * Install on windows * Copy the folder in Program Files from windows to .wine/drive_c/Prog.. * Copy "c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\StoryRock" from windows to .wine/drive_c/users/Public. That last step threw me for a curve. After that, running the exe from the program files works fine.
