Program does install and starts.
When using the tab button, in the update screen right after starting the program, options are shown (one by one) and ok + cancel button is reachable.
After selecting the right options, the software is updated.
The Notification Icon is available and connecting the remote is detected.
Preferences are reachable and can be changed.
What does not
The main-window is not visible (a gray field or a copy of the previous window (in case of maximized use and alt + tab between program x and Harmony software)
The main screen is in essence a website. Made by (something like) flash. This makes navigating the tool by tab impossible. At least while running in WineHQ.
This also reminds me of the way I was first told about this remote. By a blind friend who wanted me to update the remote for him while he could not use the Logitech Software because his screenreader did not know what to do with the empty screen.
What was not tested
Updating the remote. While the mainscreen does not appear, it is not possible to get there.
The tool is a sort of wrapper for a website (try running it in Windows or Mac and disconnect while you wait for a next page to load. You will get a 404 page). So it should be possible to build a product that is reachable using a normal webbrowser. Something Logitech should really look into. Not only for users of different distro's, but also for users using a screenreader, tablet or phone to change settings
