What works

Opening QuickTime player and playing a QuickTime .mov file.

NOTE: I had crashes at first with my version of wine (1.4-0ubuntu4 on Ubuntu Precise 12.04).  A few seconds after trying to start 7.7.x and with it's window appearing, there would then be an unhandled exception e.g. in the console. Then I used winecfg to change the "Windows Version" to "Windows 7" and so far after several attempts it has crashed just once after loading a file.

What does not

Workarounds

What was not tested

Audio output as I haven't setup drivers for my USB DAC output in winecfg.
