What works
Installs. Player plays MP3 files and streams, MOV files and streams. Viewer views and prints JPEG and BMP files.
Streams tested via links from the MultimediaWiki RTSP page.
What does not
Picture viewer: If more than one image is loaded their windows start flashing, as if it's having a problem with focus or z-axis window order, until one or the other is moved.
Player: Couldn't play Indeo 5 AVI video even when codec installed (black window, audio only). Setting player preferences causes an unhandled exception and abort (but preference changes are still set). An unhandled exception often occurs on exit.
