- Installing the game
- Starting the game
- Playing the first few puzzles
What does not
Nothing so far, but I've only played about 10-15 minutes.
The frame rate is not spectacular but definitely playable.
What was not tested
Completing the game.
This is a UDK game and was a bit of a pain to install and get it to run. In a new WINEPREFIX: - winetricks d3dx9 xact_jun2010 dotnet40 - In winecfg disable d3d11 (Add, Edit, Disable) - Install game and allow it to install its own DirectX but do NOT allow it to install its own .NET 4.0 - To start the game from its default install location: cd $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/Unmechanical/Binaries/Win32/ wine "C:\Unmechanical\Binaries\Win32\Unmechanical.exe" It must be started inside the Win32 directory. - The game may run very slowly (a couple of frames per second) unless you disable DOF by setting: DepthOfField=False in either of: \Unmechanical\Engine\Config\BaseEngine.ini \My Documents\My Games\Unmechanical\UDKGame\Config\UDKEngine.ini You can also set Fullscreen and other UDK settings in this file. Enjoy!
