The launcher didn't work well with the Gecko I had. Therefore, I installed IE8 via winetricks. I found out later that even on IE8 the launcher sometimes get stuck and has to be reopened, so I'm not sure that my failure with Gecko indicates anything at all. I also had to copy wldap32.dll from windows OS, so the game starts afterwards. After that the game seemed to work well, with a little bit lags on main menus.
